Inside Texas was on the scene for a brief CFP-mandated viewing period.
Most importantly and as shared first with Inside Texas subscribers on the Inside Texas Members Only message board, Cameron Williams was taking first-string reps during drills at right tackle. Williams was knocked out of the Longhorns’ first-round win over Clemson and after he was listed as a game-time decision versus Arizona State in the Peach Bowl, participated in pre-game warmups and dressed out but did not record a single snap.
His replacement at right tackle against the Sun Devils, Trevor Goosby, took reps at left tackle during drills. The rest of the line, including Kelvin Banks, practiced at their normal positions and spots on the depth chart.
In addition, no other Longhorns appeared any worse for wear. Isaiah Bond was with the first-string receivers running routes, followed by Ryan Wingo and Aaron Butler at their particular wide receiver position. No running backs were sporting obvious braces or hampering. The only player visible working off to the side in order to rehabilitate an injury was Max Merril.

On Friday, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian said he expected to be at full strength for the matchup with the Buckeyes for a spot in the national championship game.
“I think we’re going to be healthy and good to go by the time the game rolls around,” Sarkisian said.
