- Justin and Joe start the ever-popular Questions Answered with the latest on Orlando (Fla.) Jones defensive lineman D’antre Robinson before his announcement on Thursday. The guys feel good about the Longhorns’ chances. Why is Robinson so important? Texas needs big bodies in the 2024 class before they enter the Southeastern Conference next fall. Where does Texas go next at DL? Dominick McKinley is a name to know. The On3 Industry Ranking five-star from Lafayette (La.) Acadiana is very find of the Longhorns, with LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M in the mix.
- Justin and Joe next discuss SEC Media Days where Cook hung out with this week. What was the buzz surrounding the Longhorns? Joe lamented there’s mostly curiosity surrounding Texas before they enter the conference in 2024. The biggest difference in Big 12 Media Days and SEC Media Days? The size, said Joe. The sheer volume is on a larger scale in Nashville. Next year, it’ll held in Dallas at The Omni Hotel in the Longhorn state.

- Justin and Joe dive back into recruiting with Lancaster (Texas) safety and On3 four-star Corian Gipson. The guys recap the teams; Texas looks great, Clemson has been tremendous, and Ohio State is hanging around the rim. Joe asks if this could be the hardest won battle at this point in the 2024 cycle, and Justin agreed it probably is at this stage. Beating Clemson and Ohio State would be tremendous at the defensive back spot.
- Justin and Joe ask who is the most important recruit to visit Austin in late July. Justin named 2025 QB commit KJ Lacey, but also mentions the Mater Dei (Calif.) powerhouse that’s bringing a handful of prospects to Austin in that last week, most notably On3 four-star running back Jordon Davison.
- The guys finish with over/under on the amount of Texas commits before the next time Justin and Joe record. The number is two, where Justin and Joe are taking the push.
