- Justin and Gerry start this week’s show discussing Waco (Texas) Connally CB Kobe Black (3:00). Black took unofficial visits to Texas and Texas A&M last weekend, and is looking at a pair of official trips during the season. Texas remains in a solid position.
- Justin and Gerry move to Wardell Mack (4:43). The Pelican State product skipped his LSU visit over the weekend to see Florida again, with Texas and Florida appearing to be the teams to beat in this recruitment. They discussed Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day EDGE Solomon Williams (7:35). The Sunshine State product loved his recent trip to Austin and is looking at a fall visit.
- Tulsa (Okla.) NOAH Homeschool EDGE Danny Okoye (10:00) is another prospect on the Texas radar. He took trips to Alabama and Oklahoma last week. Texas still likes its position here, but it won’t be real until Okoye makes it back to Austin and brings his mother.
- Justin and Gerry jump into Duncanville (Texas) five-star EDGE Colin Simmons (13:37.) The elite defender took a trip to Baton Rouge for the LSU recruiting weekend. Even though this is still a Texas-LSU battle, watch Texas A&M as they attempt to get him back on campus.
- Justin and Gerry offer updates Allen EDGE Zina Umeozulu (16:06) and Jordan Ross (17:03.) Justin and Gerry talk about Lafayette (La.) Acadiana DT Dominick McKinley (18:55) and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy’s TJ Lindsey 20:15 as the remaining top defensive line targets.
- Justin mentions an update on St. Louis (Mo.) St. Louis University WR Ryan Wingo (23:20). Wingo hit Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, and is now focused on fall camp for his senior year.

- Justin and Gerry talk about five-star OL Brandon Baker out of Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei. Texas and Sarkisian have been trying to build a pipeline to the California powerhouse program. It appears to be a Texas-Ohio State battle, with Oregon being the consistent team in this pursuit.
