In this episode, Justin and Gerry discuss…
- Justin and Gerry start this week’s show with two big recruiting announcements coming this week from Orlando (Fla.) Jones defensive lineman D’antre Robinson and Lancaster (Texas) defensive back Corian Gipson. Robinson makes his decision on Thursday, July 20th with Texas and Florida the final two schools standing. Gipson will announce on Saturday, July 22nd from Lancaster High School at 3pm in front of family and friends. The On3 four-star is deciding between Texas, Clemson, and Ohio State, where he took official visits in June.
- Justin and Gerry jump into defensive back recruiting with Kobe Black, the Waco (Texas) Connally four-star corner. Black is still taking an unofficial to Texas A&M in late July, and considering official trips to Alabama and LSU this fall. But he’s another recruit that might not wait until December for his selection. They also discussed Marrero (La.) John Ehret corner Wardell Mack and how it’s down to Texas, Florida, and LSU.

- Justin and Gerry shift to the pass-rusher position with Duncanville (Texas) On3 five-star Colin Simmons. Texas appears to maintain the lead for the nation’s top-rated EDGE who is slated to visit Texas A&M in late July. His decision timeline remains uncertain but Inside Texas wouldn’t be surprised by a surprise announcement. Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Brandon Baker is also looking at a decision near the end of the summer with Texas and Oregon in the mix.
- Justin and Gerry hit on St. Louis (Mo.) Saint Louis University wide receiver Ryan Wingo and his decision timeline. The Texas target is looking at a December 20th announcement with trips to Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Miami over the next few months.
