In this episode, Justin and Bobby discuss:

  1. Justin and Bobby open with the UT’s Saturday team scrimmage. It appears the defense won the practice, with the defensive line continuing its dominance of the offensive interior. Tackles Kelvin Banks and Christian Jones are in mid-season form, with Cameron Williams getting reps at the swing tackle spot. At quarterback. Quinn Ewers continues to impress with the passing attack, with Xavier Worthy, AD Mitchell, and Johntay Cook. Running back Savion Red is also flashing while freshman Cedric Baxter looks better each practice. While the d-line is holding court, led by T’Vondre Sweat and Byron Murphy, the secondary is getting stronger. Safety Kitan Crawford is playing well, while Terrance Brooks and Gabe Holmes have been solid.
  2. Justin and Bobby talk about the Texas Relays, national track meet in Austin, which hosts recruits and college athletes. Top targets Micah Hudson, Dakorien Moore, Corian Gipson, Selman Bridges, and Gatlin Bair were on display for Friday’s events. Offensive lineman Blake Frazier threw the shot put, then added UT to his top five schools list. Duncanville running back Caden Durham and Fort Worth All Saints wide receiver Dozie Euzkanma continue to speak to the Longhorns staff as well.
  3. Justin and Bobby finish up with a hat tip to the Texas Men’s Basketball team in 2022-2023 and new head coach Rodney Terry. Who could return? Arterio Morris, Dylan Disu, and Brock Cunningham are just a few names as the staff welcomes freshmen Ron Holland and AJ Johnson to the 2023-2024 squad.
