Graceson Littleton’s commitment brings a range of impressive skills to the Longhorns’ secondary. The Tampa (Fla.) Wiregrass Ranch corner committed to Texas moments ago. He was in Austin this past weekend for the Florida game after visiting Michigan the weekend prior. Until recently he was committed to Clemson.

This is a big get for Texas.

Here’s a breakdown of his strengths:

Speed and Agility: Exceptional speed and quickness make him a strong cover corner on the outside.

Press-Man Coverage: Excels in press coverage, mirroring receivers at the line and staying in phase on deep routes.

Route Recognition: Demonstrates a high football IQ with a strong ability to read and anticipate route concepts.

Ball Skills: Former receiver with a knack for playing the ball in the air, consistently getting his head around to make plays.

Adaptability: Versatile in both man and zone coverage, able to effectively play boundary or field positions.

Playmaker Instinct: Shows the ability to break off his man and make a play on the ball when he reads the quarterback’s intentions.

Return Game Threat: Dangerous as a kick and punt returner with the potential to take it to the house on any given play.

Strengths: Adequate height and a good frame to build on. Longish arms. Great acceleration and change of direction. Gets up to speed quickly. Top end speed is well above average and will run down most ball carriers at the high school level on pure speed. Several highlights in press man. Establishes good leverage on the receiver and consistently lands the jam. Man turns are fluid and no visible false steps in transition. Makes excellent use of the boundary and will establish position forcing the receiver to fight to stay in bounds. Will consistently stay in phase and track the ball well. Contests the catch zone effectively and lower body explosiveness helps him attack the ball in the air. Good judge of the ball in flight. Catch motion is pretty fluid. A threat to score from anywhere with the ball in his hands. Good kick return highlights showing good vision and decisive cuts.

Areas for improvement: Film is generally limited and doesn’t show much zone coverage. Ability and desire to take on run blocks is not represented on this film.

Texas has one other corner in the 2025 class: Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall four-star Caleb Chester. Littleton’s pledge adds the second corner UT needs in this cycle.

He is the No. 99 overall prospect and No. 12 CB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 15 player in Florida.
