The 6-foot-2, 215-pound On3 Industry Ranking five-star pass-catcher made an unofficial visit to Texas in June of 2022, and has scheduled an official visit to Austin for June 16-18.
Wingo will begin the official visit process with a trip to Georgia this weekend. He will then visit Michigan June 9-11 before heading to Texas June 16-18. Missouri is the final June official visit scheduled. He’ll be in Columbia on the 23rd.
Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, Miami, and Texas are squarely in the mix. He hears from Georgia quarterback commit Dylan Raiola on a regular basis, the Tennessee staff continues to push, and Miami is a school to watch in this recruitment. But Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian have made an impression on the five-star receiver.
“Matter of fact, (Sark) just texted me,” Wingo told On3. “I think he’s a great dude. He’s got the offensive mind and, again, you want to play with a great quarterback and he’s got Arch Manning in the class before me. With that offensive mind, he was at Alabama with all those good receivers and all had productive seasons. I look back at his history you see it’s pretty good offenses.”

As for a commitment timeline, the five-star Show Me State native wants to take his decision to early national signing day.
“I’ll probably wait for national signing day,” said Wingo. “I have a lot of officials, want to make sure I weigh my options out, and make sure I pick the right spot.”
Wingo is the nation’s No. 21 overall prospect and No. 5 wide receiver per the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted combination of the recruiting rankings published by the four main outlets. He’s the No. 2 prospect in Missouri.
