PFF College's highest-graded Texas football players at each position versus Oklahoma

It was a spectacular day for the Texas Longhorns, who dominated on both sides of the ball Saturday en route to a 49-0 win over rival Oklahoma. Here are the some of the notable and highest graded players from Texas’ big win over the Sooners ,from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, via PFF.

OFFENSE

QB – Quinn Ewers, 86.2

Ewers was simply spectacular on Saturday finishing 21-of-31 for 289 yards and four touchdowns. His 86.2 is near the top this week among signal-callers in the nation.

RB – Roschon Johnson, 79.8; Bijan Robinson, 81.1

Robinson carried the weight against the Sooners tallying 130 yards rushing, two touchdowns, and almost six yards per carry in 40 snaps. Johnson added 93 total yards on 33 snaps.

WR – Jordan Whittington83.1

Ewers spread the ball equally, with Whittington co-leading the team with five catches on the day. Whittington also added an 85.7 run blocking grade in 66 snaps.

TE – Ja’Tavion Sanders77.5

Sanders is quietly becoming one of the most productive tight ends in the college football in 2022. He was the co-leader in receptions (5) for 79 yards and two touchdowns, while adding a 79.6 pass blocking grade.

OL – Kelvin Banks, 71.4; Christian Jones, 68.8

The two Texas tackles set the pace again for the Longhorn offense at the State Fair. Banks added an 81.6 pass blocking grade on 72 snaps, while Jones contributed an 82.9 pass blocking grade and a 61.9 run blocking grade.

DEFENSE

DL – Moro Ojomo, 76.4; T’Vondre Sweat, 81.9

Sweat led all defensive linemen with an 81.9 overall grade on 31 snaps and graded out with an 81.4 on run defense. Ojomo added a 75.2 tackling grade on 30 snaps.

LB – Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey, 73.2

Tucker-Dorsey made a strong impression on Saturday. He led the linebackers in overall grade on 32 snaps, while DeMarvion Overshown led with a 74.1 grade in pass rush. Jaylan Ford added seven tackles as well.

CB – D’Shawn Jamison, 87.8

Jamison was the highest graded player on the defense with an overall grade of 87.8. He also excelled in coverage with an 89.6 grade on 49 snaps. Ryan Watts’ coverage drew a grade of 74.7.

S/nickel – Jerrin Thompson72.9; Jahdae Barron, 75.7; Kitan Crawford, 79.8

Barron led with an 84.1 grade in coverage on 21 snaps. Thompson notched 49 snaps, tallied seven tackles and an 82.0 grade for tackling percentage. Crawford added an 80.8 grade for tackling in 18 snaps.
