Texas is hosting two top talents as recruiting for the 2026 class is picking up steam. Justin Wells and Joe Cook go over the latest in the Recruiting Scoop.

Justin and Joe first discuss five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo, who took a visit to Texas for the Longhorns’ Thursday practice. Ojo is one of the top prospects in the nation regardless of position, and the Longhorns are in a good position in this fierce battle as visit season continues. Texas is battling primarily out-of-state competition for the top prospect.

Texas is hosting a LSU commit on Friday, one that has been on the UT radar for a while at wide receiver in Jabari Mack. Mack recently committed to the Tigers, but remains open as his visit suggests.

Running back is the next topic, as Javian Osborne is trending toward Notre Dame. What’s next for Chad Scott? A look in-state a KJ Edwards plus other top running back targets from around the nation.

The two conclude with a look at a new defensive tackle name to know in Kendall Guervil out of Fort Myeres (Fla.). Kenny Baker has one in-state option he’s focused on, so he’ll have to trek far and wide again to fill his signing class.
