Report: Arkansas LB Brad Spence commits to Texas
Arkansas linebacker transfer Brad Spence has committed to Texas on his visit to Austin, per CBS Sports’ Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz.

Spence, a product of Houston (Texas) Klein Forest, just completed his second season at Arkansas. The 6-foot-2, 238-pounder recorded 54 tackles with 6.0 for loss and 4.5 sacks. He also had one PBU. Pro Football Focus assigned Spence a defensive grade of 65.9 and a run defense grade of 81.5.
In 2023 for the Razorbacks, Spence notched 16 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss, and one pick six. He has started five games in his two-year career.
Spence was ranked as the No. 83 overall prospect in the transfer portal by On3. Out of high school, Spence was ranked as the No. 847 overall prospect and the No. 145 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking.
