It’s mostly good news for Texas. The four players who are out have been known. Two other players, linebacker Morice Blackwell and Edge Colton Vasek, are listed as doubtful. Typically when a player is listed as doubtful he doesn’t play, at least in the short time Texas has been releasing this information.
Injuries are a bit more of a concern for Arkansas. The Razorbacks best cornerback, Jaylon Braxton, will miss yet another game. He’s been a big loss for the struggling pass defense unit.
Running back Braylen Russell is listed as questionable. The plus-sized runner is a big part of the highly effective rushing attack. On the season, he has 304 yards on only 47 carries.
Russell’s stable-mate in the backfield, and one-time Longhorn, Ja’Quinden Jackson is listed as probable. He’s been the bell cow for Bobby Petrino’s offense with 592 yards and 10 touchdowns on 104 carries.
Dual-threat quarterback Taylen Green is listed as probable.
If healthy, the Razorback offense presents plenty of problems for defenses, even Texas with the No. 1 defense in the nation.
