Most Southeastern Conference teams are entering the home stretch of the 2024 regular season, with anywhere between two to four conference games left to go. After a week with a number of upsets and even more blowouts, here is the latest SEC Power Rankings picture.

1. Georgia

The Dawgs took care of business on Saturday against a depleted Florida team, but might Carson Beck be a hinderance more than a help? He has 11 interceptions in his last five games as the Dawgs sit just behind Oregon in the overall rankings.

2. Texas

No game this past week for the Longhorns, but rather a chance to get healthy and not lose any ground in the power rankings.

3. Texas A&M

The Aggies were run over, around, and through versus South Carolina on Saturday, though that being their first SEC loss means they only fall out of a second-place tie with the Longhorns. A&M is in good shape though with games versus New Mexico State and at Auburn before the November 30 rivalry game with Texas.

4. Tennessee

Tennessee defeated Kentucky in a game that was more lopsided than the scoreboard indicated. The Vols also got a solid statistical performance from Nico Iamaleava, a good sign of development for Tennessee with a stretch of Mississippi State, at Georgia, UTEP and at Vanderbilt to come.

5. Alabama

There’s a hugely important matchup this week between the Crimson Tide and…

6. LSU

Alabama has yet to record a road win in SEC play with their lone victory away from Tuscaloosa coming at Wisconsin earlier in the season. LSU is in the thick of the SEC race but a second-consecutive loss would end their hopes at Atlanta and maybe even the College Football Playoff considering the blemish USC is on their record.

7. Ole Miss

Ole Miss went into Fayetteville and did what it needed to do. A home game versus Georgia this upcoming weekend looms large for not just the league, but the national picture.

8. South Carolina

Williams-Brice at night is a tough, tough place to play and it’s not just because of the crowd. South Carolina’s dominant run game versus the Aggies has Shane Beamer likely bowling again this year and the Gamecocks deserving a spot in the top 10 of the league.

9. Vanderbilt

Diego Pavia does it again! Hugh Freeze’s nightmare continues and the Commodores are going bowling for the first time since 2018 and are on track to win their most games in a season in over a decade.

10. Missouri

A rivalry game with Oklahoma this weekend will be a major determinant as to whether Missouri stays in these rankings going forward.
