The SEC's asymmetrical scheduling combined with only 8 conference games could result in multiple tie breaking scenarios at season's end. It's not as byzantine as people think, but it does highlight the potential absurdity of the SEC's 5th best team from a power rankings perspective getting a championship berth by virtue of schedule.
