Could easily have portalled out for a starting job elsewhere, came back and learned both inside backer positions and helped the younger guys learn them. Gave up his spot to Liona Lefau before the biggest game of the year and never complained, always came in and played hard in his snaps.

Multiple big plays against Ohio State including the turnover. Dude paced the team in the offseason in the weight room and always gave it all he had. Those are the dudes that allow the stars to shine on the big stages. Winning programs need lots of David Gbenda’s, a salute to the senior

The members of Inside Texas had plenty of names to add.

It’s worth noting no public statement has been given by Quinn Ewers that says he is departing, but Inside Texas expects him to to head to the NFL.

“Jake. Majors. Program player.” – mckinneyburntorange

“It’s worth noting no public statement has been given by Quinn Ewers that says he is departing, but Inside Texas expects him to to head to the NFL.” – hello win column

“Jahdae Barron. The Thorpe Award winner. Enough said.” – snavvysnavv

“Jake Majors. When he got to start as a freshman vs Kansas State, I predicted he wouldn’t relinquish his starting job until leaving the Forty. He set the record for starts. Smart. Tactical. Leader.” – rodofdisaster

“Alfred Collins and Vernon Broughton for sticking with the program and trusting the coaches plans for development.” – aushorn

“DTs amazing how well that room of misfit toys came together.” – Learned Hat

“Gunnar Helm for putting in the work to make himself a heck of TE.” – aushorn

“Vernon Broughton. He really did feel like missing piece a couple of times this year!” – rjh_52

“Quinn Ewers. Dude has some faults in his game and drove me absolutely nuts pretty often but holy **** did he put together some fantastic drives in some huge games. Really think he would have won us a natty if he’d had an experienced RB this season. He stuck it out and stayed humble and from what I can tell was a great teammate, I’m grateful he was a Longhorn.” – texastexastexas

“Matthew Golden! He was kinda of an afterthought after we signed Bond, but he stepped up all season to be WR#1 and we didn’t hear any pouting from him as he proved to be clutch in the biggest games. He even gutted it out in the 4th quarter through ankle injury.” – Ajaa23

“So many dudes who helped turn this program around. Selfless individuals who bought into the culture. As frustrating as guys like QE could be, we all owe them a thank you. Guided us back from wondering the desert 🤘 ” – STLaw

“He wasn’t here long but Silas Bolden for me. Wish he got more action but he tried his *** off on every opportunity he got.” – longhorns456

“Juan Davis. Could have easily hit the portal but stuck with it and helped the Horns a lot this year” – Texasfan26

“Matthew Golden for carrying a heavier load on the outside than any of us could have expected, becoming the only real weapon we had at receiver, and fighting through injury to make a big play in the 2nd half last night.” – travhlav

“Silas Bolden! That man gave it his all every play. Wish we could’ve had him longer.” – willetc28

“Barryn Sorrell. Absolute maximizer. Solid player and an unsung hero.” – sdlonghornfan

“Barron! One of my favorite Longhorns ever. To see his growth on and off the field these last few years has been an absolute pleasure. He is one of the pillars of the Sark era when we look back on this program in 10 years.” – MP26

“The pride of Pflugerville, Texas, JAHDAE BARRON. My bold prediction is he will one day be the head coach of the Texas Longhorns football program. Thank you, 7!” – pflughorn2016

“Shout outs to Kelvin Banks. Changed the trajectory of the program. Was our best player for 3 years straight. Salute” – longhorntully

“Barron, Quin, Barryn, Helm, Banks, Jake Majors & Mukuba!!! All faves that helped UT get back on the correct course. Go get that bag and enjoy professional accolades.” – Derrick.Murray

“Hayden Conner played a ton for teams that accomplished great things, and he appreciated Pinkerton’s BBQ from the start. Blackwell, Holmes, and walk-ons like Cole Lourd. Thank you. Don’t remember seeing Kevin Banks mentioned, but outstanding. Transfers like Lole, Norton; their efforts on short yardage in particular were awesome. Mukuba had a great homecoming. Grateful to them all, and wish them, and those who left on good terms, fantastic futures!” – callkevin

“Kelvin Freaking Banks. That dude walked into this program and from Day 1 began changing the culture by example, and did so every.. single.. day from before dawn to dusk. Everything changes when you have a guy you can put on an island out there at LT. We finally had the makings of an OL. Kelvin Banks is a serious MF. Much respect” – Texian

“It’s truly been a great ride watching Sark turn this program around. All respect for Quinn and what he’s done for this program. Watching him walk off the field last night and turn around for one last look before going into the tunnel got to me. Those guys poured themselves into this program and built this culture. Wish yesterday turned out differently but it’s hard to look back on this season and not be happy. Looking forward to seeing how the team changes next year and what strengths are shown. Hook’em forever” – meatballmania
