Social Slant: Texas recruiting targets arrive for their official visits
Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns are hosting 20 official visitors this weekend, and several of the highly-touted prospects have taken to social media to document their Friday arrivals and some of the amenities offered on a Texas OV.

Eugene Brooks
IOL, Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 740 (3-star)
Brooks recently took a visit to Oklahoma. He is ranked as the No. 51 interior offensive lineman and the No. 55 prospect in California in the 2024 class according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.
Danny Okoye
EDGE, Tulsa (Okla.) NOAH Homeschool
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 169 (four-star)
This is Okoye’s first trip to Austin and first official visit. Okoye is the No. 169 overall prospect and No. 11 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also the No. 1 player in Oklahoma. On3 rates Okoye higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 63 overall prospect and No. 6 EDGE in the country.
Isaia Faga
DL, Phenix City (Ala.) Central
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 702 (three-star)
Faga is committed to Utah, but he’s still taking visits, including Alabama recently and Texas this weekend. He plays for Phenix City (Ala.) Central High, but Faga was born in Las Vegas. His father is from California and his mom is from Hawaii, and they made the move to Alabama as his father is an Army Ranger stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia, which is roughly 20 minutes from Phenix City.

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 614 (three-star)
After his official visit to Ole Miss, Hills is hitting Austin for the second time in 2023. According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Hills is the No. 57 overall defensive lineman in the nation and No. 17 prospect in Louisiana.
Deshawn Warner
EDGE, Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 611 (three-star)
Warner named Texas in his top four recently, and looks to be shaping up as a battle with Washington. He is No. 611 in the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 grades Warner as a three-star recruit, the No. 39 EDGE, and the No. 13 player in the state of Arizona for 2024.
Khmori House
LB, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 511 (three-star)
House is the No. 512 overall player in the country according to the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 has him ranked higher than other services, however. House is the No. 59 linebacker and No. 33 player in the state of California.
