Sarkisian believed the program would upgrade Bond to PROBABLE. On Wednesday night on the first SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report of the week, Bond was listed as QUESTIONABLE.
Bond left Texas’ 34-3 win over the Oklahoma Sooners due to what Sarkisian described at the Cotton Bowl as a “tweaked” and then “reaggravated” ankle injury.
Bond’s agent posted during the game on Saturday that the injury was “nothing major.”
Bond had five yards on his only catch at the time of his injury. He entered the RRS as the Longhorns’ leading receiver with 364 yards and three touchdowns. He also has two carries for 51 yards and a rushing touchdown this season.
Every other Longhorn on the injury report Wednesday night was classified as OUT. That included Derek Williams Jr., CJ Baxter, Christian Clark, Velton Gardner, and Trevor Goosby.
