Texas announces program players of the game for the win over Arizona State
As it has often this year, Texas social media announced program’s players of the game on Friday following the Longhorns’ 39-31 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Quinn Ewers and Matthew Golden were offensive players of the game.
Andrew Mukuba and Jahdae Barron were the defensive players of the game.
Ethan Burke and Silas Bolden took home special teams players of the game honors.
Ewers was 20-for-30 for 322 yards and three touchdowns passing with one rushing score. He also added an interception. His play in the final stages of the game boosted the Longhorns to a win over Arizona State where victory was snatched from the jaws of defeat. He helped Texas post 14 of its 15 overtime points.
Golden caught seven passes for 149 yards and the all-important score on 4th and 13 that extended Texas’ season. He also caught the two-point conversion pass from Ewers in the second overtime period.

Mukuba made the game-sealing interception as part of a standout day. He notched eight tackles in the leadup to his career defining play.
Barron led the Longhorns with 11 tackles, seven of them solo, with one of them a tackle for loss.
Ethan Burke notched two tackles including one for loss and blocked a Sun Devil field goal attempt late in the first half.
Bolden put points on the board with a 75-yard kick return for a touchdown in the first quarter.
