Texas announces program players of the week for the win at Arkansas
As the program does every Monday after a win, the Texas Longhorns announced the program’s internal players of the game for their recent 20-10 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Offensive players of the week were Matthew Golden and Hayden Conner.
Defensive players of the week were Alfred Collins, Jahdae Barron, and Barryn Sorrell.
Special teams saw three players honored in Michael Kern, Bert Auburn, and Ryan Niblett.
Golden had only two catches but they were both of the touchdowns the Longhorns scored on Saturday. Conner was on the field for 73 snaps on Saturday and recorded a Pro Football Focus offensive grade of 68.9. His mark was buoyed by a pass-blocking grade of 86.3.

Collins notched seven tackles with one sack and two tackles for loss. He also forced a pivotal fumble that was recovered by Michael Taaffe. Barron also had seven tackles with six of them solo. He netted one sack, two tackles for loss, one interception, one pass breakup, and a quarterback hit. Sorrell recorded seven tackles with one sack, a tackle for loss, and a quarterback hit.
Kern had six punts and averaged 39.8 yards per punt with a long of 42. He held for all of Auburn’s field goals and extra points. Auburn hit a 39-yarder and a 33-yarder in addition to his two point after attempts.
Niblett recorded one tackle on Saturday and downed one of Kern’s punts just before halftime.
