Texas begins Big 12 play at Oklahoma
The No. 6 ranked Texas Longhorns basketball team begins Big 12 play with a road test against arch-rival Oklahoma (9-3).

The Longhorns (11-1) enter Big 12 play with a five game winning streak, with the most recent win including a record-setting performance by super senior guard Marcus Carr.
Oklahoma enters Big 12 play on a two game winning streak, with the most recent victory coming over the Florida Gators.
The Longhorns will once again be coached by interim head coach Rodney Terry. Terry has coached the Longhorns to four straight wins.

Texas (10-1) and Oklahoma (9-3) tipoff at 1 p.m. Central on Big 12 Now/ESPN+ with Pete Sousa (play-by-play) and Lance Blanks (analyst) will call the action.

The Sooners lead the series 57-44. Texas won the last meeting 80-78 in OT February 15, 2022 in Norman.

Terry built the Fresno State program up in his time in California. The Bulldogs won 20 or more games in four of Terry’s last five seasons. That included three times in post season play. Terry has a 0-1 record in the NCAA Tournament.
