Texas cracks the top five in D1Baseball's updated top 25

The Texas Longhorns moved up two spots from No. 7 to No. 5 in the most recent D1Baseball top 25, setting up a top-five series with the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs this weekend.

Texas jumped past No. 6 Clemson after a 4-0 week for the Longhorns that culminated in a series sweep of the Missouri Tigers. Georgia also went 4-0.

Texas is 23-3 while Georgia is 28-2.

SEC teams represented in the top 25 included No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Arkansas, No. 3 Georgia, No. 5 Texas, No. 7 LSU, No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Ole Miss, No. 10 Oklahoma, No. 16 Auburn, and No. 23 Vanderbilt. No. 18 Louisville was the only other team from Texas’ schedule to make the top 25.
