Texas Exes announce 2023 Texas Fight Tour
Following a successful trip around the Lone Star State in 2022, Texas head football coach Steve Sarkisian and athletics director Chris Del Conte plan on an encore performance during the 2023 Texas Fight Tour presented by the Texas Exes. Sarkisian and Del Conte will make their way to San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston during the month of May after kicking things off on April 15, the day of the spring game.

Sarkisian and Del Conte will begin the tour in Austin on the day of the Orange-White Game at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center across San Jacinto Blvd. from Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 12:30 p.m., 30 minutes before the spring game kicks off. The event is free and there is no RSVP or ticket required.
The tour will begin in earnest during the second week of May. On May 9, the Texas Exes will host the San Antonio leg of the Texas Fight Tour at the Chicken N Pickle from 6-8 p.m. Details for the event at 5215 UTSA Boulevard can be found here. Prices for this event, and those in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston, are $25 for Texas Exes and Longhorn Foundation members, $35 for non-members, and $10 for children ages 7-12. Children 6 and under get in free.
Tickets include appetizers and a drink ticket, a Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium-approved tote bag, a poster from the event, an opportunity for autographs and photos with the coaches, and more to come.

The second leg of the tour will be held in Dallas on May 10, also from 6-8 p.m. The event is scheduled to take place at Ferris Wheelers Backyard and BBQ, located at 1950 Market Center Boulevard.
The following night’s event in Fort Worth will be at the Fort Worth Stockyards Station, located at 140 East Exchange Avenue.
Houston’s turn to host the Texas Fight Tour will be on May 16 at J-Bar-M Barbecue at 2201 Leeland Street.
