Texas flips legacy
Charlie Strong likes to flip Bears.
Strong and the Longhorns added a legacy commitment this morning when Breckyn Hager of Austin Westlake de-committed from Baylor and pledged to Texas this morning, per multiple reports. It’s the second flip from Baylor for Strong. Huntsville OT Ronnie “Buck” Major changed his pledge from Baylor to Texas back in March.
Hager is the 17th commit from the Class of 2015, joining two other UT legacies, Kirk Johnson (’15) and Collin Johnson (2016) RB and WR, respectively from San Jose (CA) and sons of former Texas All-American, Johnnie Johnson.
Here are the highlights from the 6-foot-3, 210-pound MLB and son of former Texas great, Britt Hager.
