Texas Football nets 12 on the 2023 Senior Bowl Watch List
Texas Football landed 12 prospects on the 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List this week, which includes a handful of NFL draft eligible juniors.

Jahdae Barron, DB, Class of 2020
The fourth-year defensive back has played in 27 games with 11 starts in Austin. Barron tied for sixth in program history with three non-offensive touchdowns (one block punt return, one interception return, one fumble recovery), and was named honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2022. Barron was an all-state and two-time all-district honoree in high school and is a two-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (fall 2020, spring 2021).
Jalen Catalon, S, Class of 2019
A first-year defensive back in Austin who transferred from Arkansas, the Mansfield (Texas) Legacy product played in 21 games, starting 16, during his career with the Razorbacks from 2019-22. Catalon tallied 159 tackles, 81 solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss, five interceptions, 14 passes defended, and three forced fumbles before being injured and missing the rest of the 2021 season. Catalon was chosen as a Preseason First-Team All-America by Phil Steele in 2022.
Alfred Collins, DL, Class of 2020
A fourth-year defensive lineman from Bastrop that has played in 34 games with six starts, Collins was named 2022 third-team All-Big 12 Preseason selection by Athlon Sports, second-team All-Big 12 Preseason selection by Athlon Sports in 2021, and earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2021. Collins was an All-American, all-state and three-time all-district honoree in high school, and is a three-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (fall 2020, spring 2021, spring 2023).
Kitan Crawford, S, Class of 2020
A fourth-year defensive back from Tyler (Texas) High, Crawford has played in 33 games with one start. Crawford is a special teams menace for the Longhorns playing cornerback and safety on the Forty Acres. An All-American and two-time all-district honoree in high school who participated in the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game, Crawford is a three-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (fall 2020, spring 2021, spring 2022).
Jaylan Ford, LB, Class of 2020
A fourth-year linebacker who has played in 35 games with 15 starts, Ford was named a 2022 third-team All-American by the Associated Press, a first-team All-Big 12 selection in 2022, and added four interceptions in 2022 to tie for the Texas season-record for a linebacker, last accomplished by Derrick Johnson in 2002 and 2003. Ford was named the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. Ford is a two-time all-state honoree who led Frisco (Texas) Lone Star to the state semifinals in 2019, and is three-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (fall 2020, spring 2021, spring 2023).
Christian Jones, OL, Class of 2018
The sixth-year offensive lineman has played in 48 games with 35 starts and is using his additional year of eligibility. Jones was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection in 2022 by the league’s coaches, was named Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2021 and All-Big 12 Second Team in 2020. Jones is a seven-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2020, fall 2020, spring 2021, fall 2021, spring 2022, fall 2022, spring 2023).
Isaiah Neyor, WR, Class of 2020
A second-year wide receiver who transferred from Wyoming and enrolled at UT in January 2022, Neyor was injured last fall and missed the entire 2022 season.

Keilan Robinson, RB, Class of 2019
The third-year running back who has appeared in 24 games with four starts, Robinson transferred from Alabama in 2021 and joined the Longhorns in his junior year. Robinson was named a 2022 honorable mention All-Big 12 selection as a return specialist by the league’s coaches, and earned honorable mention All-Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year in 2022. Sweat was named honorable mention Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors in 2021 and a member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2023).
T’Vondre Sweat, DL, Class of 2019
The fifth-year defensive lineman has played in 48 games with nine starts and is using his additional year of eligibility in 2023. The Huntsville native was named 2022 honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the league’s coaches. Sweat was an all-state and multi-year all-district honoree in high school and a three-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2020, fall 2020, spring 2021).
Jerrin Thompson, S, Class of 2020
A fourth-year defensive back who has played in 35 games with 20 starts, Thompson nabbed 2022 honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the league’s coaches. The Lufkin native was named to the 2020-21 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team honoree and is a three-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2020, fall 2020, spring 2021). He was an all-state and three-time all-district honoree in high school.
Ryan Watts, CB, Class of 2020
A second-year defensive back who has played in and started 13 games, Watts was named a 2022 honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the league’s coaches, and earned honorable mention All-Big 12 Defensive Newcomer Player of the Year honors. The Little Elm product transferred from Ohio State and enrolled at UT in January 2022, and was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team in 2022 and a member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2022).
Jordan Whittington, WR, Class of 2019
A fifth-year wide receiver who played in 27 games with 17 starts, Whittington was named a 2022 honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the league’s coaches. The Cuero product converted from running back after the 2019 season and made his debut versus Louisiana Tech in 2019. Whittington is a five-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2019, fall 2019, spring 2020, spring 2022, spring 2023).
