The Longhorns (20-5, 9-3) fired the West Virginia musket 94 times Saturday in the best offensive performance since the early season beatdown of Gonzaga.

Texas now heads to Lubbock with the chance for a fifth road win in Big 12 play, which would place the Longhorns in a terrific spot to claim the Big 12 Championship down the stretch with home games following against Iowa State and Oklahoma.

The win also continued to ascend the Longhorns NCAA Tournament resume that now includes 10 NET quadrant 1 wins this season. That number trails only Kansas.

The Longhorns are 13-4 under interim head coach Rodney Terry, including three wins over ranked opponents. Texas is 4-2 on the road in Big 12 play under Terry.
