Texas is one of the betting favorites for the 2025 national championship
You can bet on anything these days, including sporting events that are over 200 days away, but Las Vegas didn’t become the shining city in the desert without creating a few alluring products for people to place some money on. That’s all to say, a number of outlets have some numbers related to the Texas Longhorns’ 2024 season.

As Paul Wadlington mentioned, FanDuel has Texas as a 4.5-point underdog to the Ohio State Buckeyes, though it’s now been juiced to -110 as opposed to the -105. Texas carries +146 odds on the moneyline while the Buckeyes are -176. The over/under is set at 51.5, creating an implied score of 28-23.
On DraftKings, again as Paul mentioned, Texas remains +3.5 versus Ohio State.
That contest is the only Texas game FanDuel and DraftKings have provided odds for.
There are more available bets pertaining to the Longhorns.
When it comes to national championship futures, Texas is currently +650 on FanDuel. That is the second-best odds just behind Ohio State, who is at +450. Oregon is also at +650, while Georgia is at +700. Odds for other teams on Texas’ schedule include Texas A&M at +3000, Florida at +5000, and Oklahoma at +6500.
On BetOnline.ag, the Longhorns carry +500 odds to win the title, again just behind +400 Ohio State. Georgia and Oregon are right behind the Horns at +700.
DraftKings has the Longhorns at +550 to win the national championship, one more time, second behind Ohio State at +425.

FanDuel has win total numbers available for the 2025 regular season. Texas’ is currently set at 9.5, with the over juiced to -200 and the under sitting at +154.
There is one individual player bet available: 2025 Heisman Trophy winner.
On FanDuel, Arch Manning carries +850 odds, making him the co-favorite along with LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier. Cade Klubnik of Clemson is +1200, along with Penn State’s Drew Allar, Tennessee’s Nico Iamaleava, and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith.
On BetOnline.ag, Manning is the clear favorite with +500 odds. Nussmeier is next at +1000, followed by Smith and Klubnik at +1200.

More and more numbers will become available over the course of the offseason, and are likely to change as player movement, injuries, and other storylines become clear. But if you wanted to put a little money on Manning or the Longhorns, you’ll find some odds that think highly of the Texas football program.
