Ohio State remained No. 1 with 54 first-place votes, Indiana remained No. 2 with 11 first-place votes and Texas A&M got a singular first-place vote at No. 3.

Week 10 was big for the Longhorns, taking down No. 9 Vanderbilt and jumping them in the rankings. Elsewhere, No. 8 Georgia Tech and No. 10 Miami lost, as well as No. 14 Tennessee and No. 17 Cincinnati. Texas jumped all five of those teams in the newest ranking, as well as No. 19 Missouri, which was on a bye.

Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss also find themselves in the top 10 out of the SEC. The Crimson Tide sits at No. 4, right behind undefeated A&M, with the Bulldogs right behind them at No. 5. Ole Miss also remained at No. 7.

The Top 25 includes several other SEC teams, including No. 11 Oklahoma, which Texas previously beat. The Sooners defeated the Volunteers, who dropped to No. 23. Vanderbilt fell to No. 15, and Missouri remained at No. 19. LSU is the only other SEC team to receive votes in this week’s poll.

Texas was also ranked as the No. 13 team in the coaches’ poll.
