Hill Jr, native of Denton (Texas) Ryan High School, was a force in the 34-3 win over Oklahoma, racking up 11 tackles, 2 sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble. Hill’s efforts helped the Longhorns’ defense hold Oklahoma to just 3 points, forcing multiple punts and a fumble recovery that set up a Texas touchdown. For that he netted the Co-Defensive Player of the Week award, sharing with LSU’s Whit Weeks.

Banks, Humble (Texas) Summer Creek High School product, led the Texas offensive line in their dominant 34-3 victory over No. 18 Oklahoma. Banks did not allow a sack or a QB pressure from his left tackle position, helping Texas amass 406 total yards. His protection was key as Texas rushed for 177 yards and averaged 5.9 yards per rush, while also passing for 229 yards.
