Texas Longhorn NFL Hopefuls: How They Ranked as High School Recruits

Texas saw three of its standouts—Kelvin Banks Jr., Jahdae Barron, and Matthew Golden—selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, making it one of the program’s most successful opening nights in recent memory.

Inside Texas listed how that trio was ranked as high school prospects. But the Longhorns aren’t done yet.

A wave of Texas players are expected to come off the board during Rounds 2 through 7. Many of them arrived in Austin as elite high school recruits and developed into dependable contributors. Here’s where each ranked coming out of high school, based on the On3 Industry Composite, listed in order from highest to lowest.
