Texas Longhorns commits schedules: Week 3
The third week of the high school season for Texas Longhorns commits in the 2024 and 2025 classes gets begins Thursday.

After a bye week, IMG Academy (2-0) is back on the field making a trip to Indianapolis to take on a very sound Ben Davis High (2-0) team. Texas commitment Jerrick Gibson has posted 240 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while 4-star safety commit Jordon Johnson-Rubell has recorded eight tackles in two games.
IMG Academy is one of several big games on the schedule for members of the Texas 2024 class.

Week 2 Player of the Week
D’antre Robinson, DL, Orlando (Fla.) Jones #AllGasNoBrakes
The On3 4-star defensive tackle registered 13 tackles last week in Jones High’s 40-14 loss at Good Counsel High in Maryland. Jones High (0-2) will be looking for a first win of the season making the short trip south to take on Osceola High (0-2) Friday, September 8.
Daniel Cruz, IOL, North Richland Hills (Texas) Richland #AllGasNoBrakes
Richland High (2-0) takes on Dallas Sunset (1-1) on Friday, September 8. The Royals defeated Haltom High (0-2) 28-24 last week.

Aeryn Hampton, WR/ATH, Daingerfield (Texas) High #AllGasNoBrakes
Dangerfield High (2-0) makes the trip south Friday, September 8 to take on Timpson High (2-0) in a battle of two very athletic small school teams. Daingerfield beat Tatum High 34-17 last week.
Freddie Dubose Jr., WR, Schertz (Texas) Smithson Valley #AllGasNoBrakes
Smithson Valley (1-1) plays host to East Central (0-2) on Friday, September 8. The Rangers beat Harker Heights 27-10 last week.
Melvin Hills, DL, Lafayette (La.) Lafayette Christian Academy #AllGasNoBrakes
Lafayette Christian Academy (1-0) won their season opener last week 61-38 over Acadiana High. Texas commit Melvin Hills recorded six tackles and caused a fumble in the victory. This week, LCA travels east Friday, September 8 to take on Woodlawn High (0-1) in Baton Rouge.
Jordan Washington, TE, Houston (Texas) Langham Creek #AllGasNoBrakes
Langham Creek High (1-1) takes on Cypress Ridge (0-2) on Friday, September 8. The Lobos got a first win of the season last week defeating Jersey Village High 24-20.
Jerrick Gibson and Jordon Johnson-Rubell, IMG Academy #AllGasNoBrakes
IMG Academy (2-0) hits the road for a third time this season on Friday, September 8. The Ascenders will play in Indianapolis against Ben Davis High (3-0). Jerrick Gibson has rushed for 240 yards and two TD’s on 36 carries in the two nationally ranked contests. Jordan Johnson-Rubell has eight tackles through two games.
Michael Kern, P, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas #AllGasNoBrakes
St. Thomas Aquinas (1-1) will play host to Cocoa High (2-0) on Friday, September 8. STA beat Fort Myers High 49-0 last week for their first victory of the season.

Christian Clark, RB, Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe #AllGasNoBrakes
Mountain Pointe (2-0) makes the short trip to Peoria Friday, September 8 to take on a solid Centennial High (2-0) squad. The Pride defeated Palm Desert 31-15 last week. Clark rushed for 51 yards and a TD on five carries in the season opener prior to a knee injury.
Santana Wilson, CB/N, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain #AllGasNoBrakes
Desert Mountain High (2-0) plays host to Scottsdale Chaparral (1-1) on Friday, September 8. The Wolves beat Sunrise Mountain 31-7 last week.
Parker Livingstone, WR, Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy #AllGasNoBrakes
Lovejoy High (2-0) plays host to North Crowley (2-0) on Friday, September 8. The Leopards beat Argyle High 42-14 last week. Livingstone suffered a lower leg/foot injury in the victory. His status for Friday, and future weeks is not known as of Wednesday morning.
K.J. Lacey, QB, Saraland (Ala.) High – 2025 #AllGasNoBrakes
Saraland High (2-0) beat nearby Murphy High 54-6 last week. Lacey completed six of 10 passes for 100 yards and a TD in the win. Up next, Saraland High takes on St. Paul’s Episcopal (2-0) Friday, September 8.
Trey Owens, QB, Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair #AllGasNoBrakes
Cy-Fair High (1-1) takes on Cy Woods (2-0) on Saturday, September 9 at 6 p.m. The Bobcats beat Cy Park High last week 49-16 with Owens accounting for several touchdowns.
Nate Kibble, IOL, Humble (Texas) Atascocita #AllGasNoBrakes
Atascocita High (2-0) beat Katy High 42-34 last week. This week, the Eagles will play host to East St. Louis (1-1) on Saturday, September 9 at 7 p.m.
Colin Simmons and Alex January, Duncanville (Texas) #AllGasNoBrakes
Duncanville High (2-0) has a bye this week. The Panthers beat Rockledge High out of the Sunshine State 44-0 last week.
