The Texas Longhorns season open is just 15 days away. Chris Beard’s squad enters the season No. 12 in the AP preseason poll after winning a first NCAA Tournament game in eight years last season.

The Longhorns return five key contributors, including starters Marcus Carr, Timmy Allen and Christian Bishop.
Beard and staff added transfers Tyrese Hunter and Sir’Jabari Rice to the group of returnees to form a nucleus of seven players with 665 games of college experience, including 471 starts and 19 NCAA Tournament games played.
