Texas Longhorns Recruiting Intel: Shadow Creek targets
Inside Texas was at Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek on Tuesday checking in on a 2025 target, 2026 commit, and a pair of 2027 prospects that you need to know.
Cobey Sellers, CB – 2025 #TexasA&M commit
Despite being committed to Texas A&M since last Spring, the four-star still hears from UT and coach Terry Joseph.
Sellers is happy with his A&M pledge, but he does enjoy his conversations with Joseph, which are rarely about football. Sellers will be in College Station for the Texas-Texas A&M game on November 30th.
He mentioned A&M is winning even more than he expected. “They always had the players, they just needed the coaching.”
Chris Stewart, WR – 2026 #Texas commit
Getting to see the junior Texas pledge up close, we noticed he’s filling out his 6-foot-0 frame.
Stewart does a little bit of everything for Shadow Creek, including kick returner, punt returner, and wideout.
He’s been fantastic this year as the Sharks prepare to face Fort Bend Elkins on Friday as the playoffs begin. Stewart took an unofficial to LSU last weekend, but like we reported, it was purely to watch the game and enjoy the process.
He’s locked into his Texas commit and will take an UOV to Austin next weekend for the Kentucky game.

Tristan Willis, RB – 2027
Strong, compact, and built to last, the 5-foot-9, 195-pound tailback has had a tremendous first season on varsity for the Sharks.
Vanderbilt was his first big offer and he’s hearing from a number of schools early.
Brandon Sherrard, CB – 2027
A backup corner to begin the season, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect moved into the starting lineup two weeks ago and looks like a seasoned veteran.
He’ll be on plenty of college radars soon enough, especially if Shadow Creek makes a long run in the playoffs.
He looks and plays a lot older than most sophomores. He communicates with his defenders, while turning-and-burning. His size really stands out, but his running ability is what gets your attention.
He also run tracks for Shadow Creek.
