2026 Honolulu (Hawaii) Kamehameha Malakai Lee, a dominant 6-foot-7, 320-pounder, has included Texas in his top six schools. Ranked as the No. 114 overall player in the 2026 class in the On3 Industry Ranking, Lee is one of the most sought-after linemen in the country.

Lee has an explosive first step in the run game, allowing him to fire off the ball with power and gain immediate leverage on defenders. He plays with a physical, aggressive edge, finishing every block with authority and excelling in skip pulls, a rare trait for a lineman his size.

One of Lee’s biggest strengths is his ability to down block with force, consistently creating space for pullers and running backs. He does an excellent job of crashing down on defenders and taking out at least two players on each play, clearing lanes and giving ball carriers room to operate. His strength and technique in the run game make him an ideal lineman to run behind, particularly in inside zone and power concepts, which Texas is looking to emphasize moving forward.

Texas linebackers Johnny Nansen visited Lee in Hawaii on January 17th, reinforcing the Longhorns’ serious interest in the four-star prospect. As Eric Nahlin put it, “If you’re from Hawaii, you’re either a football player or a volleyball player—but Lee is definitely a football player.”

Texas is prioritizing dominant, road-grading offensive linemen, and Lee fits the mold perfectly. Under Kyle Flood’s development, the Longhorns have built a reputation for refining raw talent into high-level offensive linemen, making Austin an attractive destination for a prospect of Lee’s caliber.
