Texas defeated the Islanders 15-5 in eight innings on Tuesday night before dispatching of the Broncos 4-2, 8-3, and 6-1.

Texas faces UT-Arlington on Tuesday before traveling to Starkville, Miss. to battle unranked Mississippi State.

A number of SEC teams were included in the rankings. LSU was the No. 1 team, with Tennessee at No. 2, Arkansas at No. 3, and Georgia at No. 4 in the top five alone.

Other SEC teams behind that quartet included No. 7 Florida, No. 11 Texas, No. 12 Oklahoma, No. 13 Ole Miss, No. 16 Vanderbilt, No. 17 Alabama, No. 19 Texas A&M, and No. 25 Auburn.

Oklahoma State, a team on the Longhorns’ schedule, dropped out of the top 25.
