Texas offers Kavian Bryant, On3's No. 1 quarterback in the 2027 class

So far, Texas had only issued offers to two quarterbacks in the 2027 class. One was Huntington Beach (Calif.) four-star Brady Edmunds, who committed to Ohio State in December. The other was Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian Academy four-star Peyton Houston, who has been a frequent guest of the Longhorns including this past weekend’s Elite Camp.

Add a third to the list. Palestine (Texas) Westwood signal-caller Kavian Bryant, On3’s No. 1 quarterback in the 2027 class, received an offer on Thursday after throwing in front of Texas coaches during a visit to the 40 Acres.
His offer from Steve Sarkisian and company joins another Texas offer. Sean Miller has also offered Bryant for his exploits on the hardwood.
In football, Bryant is ranked as the No. 47 overall prospect, the No. 4 quarterback, and the No. 9 player in Texas in the 2027 On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Bryant as the No. 42 overall prospect, the No. 1 quarterback, and the No. 7 player in Texas.
Bryant’s film is special, all 17:31 of it.
In hoops, Bryant is ranked as the No. 69 overall prospect, the No. 15 shooting guard, and the No. 5 player in Texas in the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Bryant as the No. 117 overall prospect, the No. 26 shooting guard, and the No. 9 player in Texas.

Last year for the Panthers on the gridiron, he threw for 2442 yards on 120-for-146 passing with 34 TDs and three interceptions. He also ran for 709 yards and 11 touchdowns on the way to the second round of the 3A Division I playoffs.
In hoops, Bryant posted 30.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.9 steals per contest in 3A-District 20. Westwood lost to eventual state champion Kountze in the regional semifinals of the 3A Division II tournament last year.
