So far, Texas had only issued offers to two quarterbacks in the 2027 class. One was Huntington Beach (Calif.) four-star Brady Edmunds, who committed to Ohio State in December. The other was Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian Academy four-star Peyton Houston, who has been a frequent guest of the Longhorns including this past weekend’s Elite Camp.

Add a third to the list. Palestine (Texas) Westwood signal-caller Kavian Bryant, On3’s No. 1 quarterback in the 2027 class, received an offer on Thursday after throwing in front of Texas coaches during a visit to the 40 Acres.

His offer from Steve Sarkisian and company joins another Texas offer. Sean Miller has also offered Bryant for his exploits on the hardwood.
