Texas QB Arch Manning opts into EA College Football 25
Arch Manning is IN THE GAME. The Texas redshirt freshman quarterback announced he’ll be in the new EA Sports College Football 25 video game that comes out this July. He’ll be the third Manning to play in the highly-touted game, following uncles Peyton and Eli Manning, but the first to actually get paid.

With help from uncle Eli, Arch announced his plans Monday. He joins a group of players numbering more than 14,000 who opted in. He’s sure to be one of the more popular players in the game.
Manning played in two games in 2023 and is getting ready for his sophomore season at Texas. He was behind Quinn Ewers and Maalik Murphy on the depth chart last season, making his college debut during a blowout over over Texas Tech in Austin last November.
Manning has an On3 NIL Valuation of $2.8 million, which ranks No. 3 in the On3 NIL 100 – the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation. By opting in to EA Sports College Football, he’s taking another step into the NIL space after previously announcing a deal with Panini America.

How players could opt in to EA Sports College Football 25
Now that players can be in the game thanks to NIL, fans will see some of the most notable names in the sport on their screens. In fact, EA Sports surpassed its goal of 11,000 opt-ins in what’s believed to be one of the largest NIL deals ever executed.
Just 10 days after the launch of the opt-in program, EA announced more than 10,000 athletes opted into the game. OneTeam told On3’s Pete Nakos EA is now north of 14,000 opt-ins ahead of the July release.

OneTeam and CLC worked hand-in-hand to facilitate the NIL deals. Athletes receive $600 plus a copy of the game for their participation.
