Wright, a third-year sophomore out of Austin (Texas) High, appeared in four games in his Texas career. Wright was one of the indispensable play-signalers during the 2023 season
A member of Texas’ 2021 class, Wright was ranked as the No. 871 overall prospect, the No. 67 quarterback, and the No. 126 prospect in the state of Texas according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.
