Reports from Anwar Richardson say that Shane Buechele informed coaches Wednesday of his intentions to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. Inside Texas can confirm Brett McMurphy’s Thursday morning report that he is in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Inside Texas is still hearing he’s staying through May to graduate and have two seasons, but that’s five months away.

Richardson also reported that Cam Rising is close to leaving. If he does depart, the likelihood of Thompson staying increases. There were multiple reports that Texas confirmed Rising had left the program late Wednesday.
