Texas QB Quinn Ewers shines at 2025 NFL Scouting Combine

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers arrived in Indianapolis with something to prove. After commentary from the NFL Network and head coach Steve Sarkisian, he proved he belongs to be one of the top signal-callers in the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The junior from Southlake (Texas) Carroll was finally healthy after a 2024 season with bumps, bruises, and a strained oblique muscle. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound former five-star and 2024 All SEC second teamer looked sharp from the start.
Sarkisian was in the booth during Ewers’ throwing session. You could hear the pride in his voice watching his guy spin it.
“[Quinn] can throw darts. I’m looking forward to seeing him hit every target today. I thought his deep ball dramatically improved over three years,” said Sarkisian live on NFL Network.

During his career at Texas, Ewers played and started in 36 games. He notched 737 completions for 9,128 yards, and 68 touchdowns while throwing 28 interceptions. He recorded a 64.9% career completion percentage in Austin.
