Texas ranked No. 15 in latest AP Poll
The Texas Longhorns are ranked No. 15 in the latest release of the AP Top 25 Poll.

Texas (4-0) moved up four spots since last Monday’s AP Poll with wins over Rice (80-64) and Louisville (81-80).
The Longhorns put the No. 15 ranking to the test tonight in Madison Square Garden against No. 5 UConn (4-0) on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. Central.
Four Big 12 teams were included in the top 25. Kansas is at the top at No. 1, Houston is ranked No. 6, Baylor is No. 13, and Texas is No. 15.

Several teams on Texas’ schedule were also included in the most recent poll. Texas plays at No. 1 Kansas in Big 12 play. The Longhorns will take on No. 6 Houston and No. 13 Baylor twice in conference play. And Texas will take on No. 4 Marquette coached by Shaka Smart December 6 in Milwaukee.
Other teams from the state of Texas in the poll include No. 12 Texas A&M.
The Longhorns finished No. 5 in the final AP Poll for the 2022-23 season.
