During the course of the Texas Longhorns’ College Football Playoff matchup with the Arizona State Sun Devils, Quintrevion Wisner eclipsed the 1000-yard mark on the season. Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian now has had a 1000-yard rusher in every season he’s been leading the Longhorns.

Wisner entered this game with 973 yards and finally got to the needed number midway through the contest.

Texas currently leads Arizona State 24-8 in the fourth quarter.

Wisner also has 229 yards receiving and one touchdown reception in the 2024 season

Wisner joins Bijan Robinson and Jonathon Brooks as Sarkisian’s 1000-yard rushers. In 2021, Robinson rushed for 1127 yards in just 10 games. He followed that season up with a 2022 that saw him rush for 1580 yards and 18 touchdowns on his way to unanimous All-American honors and the Doak Walker Award.

Brooks followed Robinson in 2023, rushing for 1139 yards in 11 games.
