QB Jalen Milroe, Alabama

The former Texas commit and Katy (Texas) Tompkins native flipped to Alabama after it was obvious Quinn Ewers was headed to Austin.

RB Ollie Gordon, Oklahoma State

Texas offered late and never had any footing with the Euless (Texas) Trinity product.

RB Ja’Quinden Jackson, Texas/Utah

The former Longhorn QB transferred to Utah after Texas asked him to play running back, which he played at Utah.

WR Bru McCoy, USC/Texas/USC/Tennessee

Texas fans won’t forget the Spring of the Bru McCoy transfer drama. He finally landed in Knoxville and did pretty well.

WR Isaiah Neyor, Wyoming/Texas/Nebraska

The Arlington native and Texas transfer suffered an injury in Austin and never got the opportunity to thrive on the Forty Acres.

WR Theo Wease, Oklahoma/Missouri

Texas loved the Allen (Texas) product, but he signed with OU, then transferred to Mizzou two years later.

WR Savion Williams, TCU

Texas offered the freak East Texas athlete, but it was too little, too late.

TE Jaylin Conyers, Texas Tech

Texas liked the West Texas prospect, but didn’t push too hard.

OL Donovan Jackson, Ohio State

Texas loved the Bellaire Episcopal (Houston) five-star, but he had Columbus on his mind.

DE Landon Jackson, LSU/Arkansas

Texas was in the thick of this recruitment, until LSU had 14 players drafted in 2020. He transferred to Fayetteville and became All-SEC. His little brother just enrolled at Texas.

DL Princely Umanmielen, Florida/Ole Miss

The Horns were in on the Central Texas D-lineman, but ultimately chose UF.

LB Nick Martin, Oklahoma State

Texas hosted the ETX prospect multiple times, but an offer never came through. So he set records in Stillwater.

DB Billy Bowman Jr, Oklahoma

Another former Texas commit that flipped to OU before his senior year.

DB Kitan Crawford, Texas/Nevada

After four seasons in Austin, the Tyler (Texas) native followed Jeff Choate to Nevada.

DB Jabbar Muhammad, Oklahoma State/Oregon

Texas pursued the former All-Big 12 defensive back at OSU, but he ultimately ended up in Oregon.

DB Lathan Ransom, Ohio State

Texas loved the Arizona-raised safety, but he inked with Ohio State.
