Texas recruiting targets, commits provide their predictions for the Kentucky game

Inside Texas caught up with several recruits and commits to gather their thoughts and score predictions ahead of the Longhorns’ big matchup against Kentucky this weekend. Confidence is running high as Texas looks to continue its dominant season and impress future talent.

2026 OL Zaden Krempin (Prosper, TX): “I’m just super excited to be back in Austin and see the Longhorns at home.” Krempin predicted a solid performance, with Texas taking a 28-14 victory over Kentucky.

For 2025 LB Commit Elijah Barnes, it’s all about the defense. “I’m looking forward to Texas dominating, especially on defense. It’s just good to be back home.” Barnes has high expectations for the Longhorns’ ability to shut down Kentucky’s offense, predicting a 31-6 win.

2025 LB commit Jonathan Cunningham didn’t hold back in his confidence about the Longhorns’ chances. “You already know what it is—my boys are about to dominate, just like we are tonight.” Cunningham sees Texas delivering a statement performance with a bold 42-10 victory.

Meanwhile, 2025 Texas commits Devin, Isaiah, and Jordan Coleman won’t make the trip this weekend but remain confident in their team. “We won’t be making the trip this weekend, but it’s Texas at the end of the day. Texas a lot to a little.” Their prediction reflects the overwhelming confidence that Texas will handle business comfortably.
