Following that midweek, the Texas A&M Aggies come to town in a long awaited affair. Inside Texas will host a tailgate for the Friday 7 p.m. game with location details forthcoming. Texas A&M began the season ranked No. 1 even after the Longhorns swiped Jim Schlossnagle from College Station. Michael Earley’s ballclub tumbled to start the season and currently sit at 23-16 and 8-10 in SEC play. However, A&M has found its stride in recent weeks, taking series at Tennessee, versus South Carolina, and at Arkansas.
The Longhorns sit atop the SEC standings at 16-2, three full games ahead of second place Arkansas.
Other SEC teams in the top 25 include No. 5 Arkansas, No. 6 Tennessee, No. 7 LSU, No. 9 Vanderbilt, No. 10 Georgia, No. 11 Auburn, No. 14 Oklahoma, No. 18 Alabama, and No. 23 Ole Miss. Louisville, who issued the Longhorns one of their five losses this year, is No. 19.
