Texas will face Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament as the 13-seed in the first round on Wednesday, March 12 in Nashville, Tenn. at Bridgestone Arena. Texas will play 25 minutes after the completion of South Carolina versus Arkansas.

Should Texas defeat the Commodores, the Longhorns will face 5-seed Texas A&M on Thursday, March 13, once again 25 minutes after the completion of the noon game. If the Longhorns defeat the Aggies, the Tennessee Volunteers await Texas. That game will tip off on 25 minutes after the completion of Friday, March 14’s noon game.

Texas fell 86-78 in Nashville during the Longhorns’ first and only matchup with the Commodores this season. All five starters scored in double-figures for the Longhorns with Tre Johnson leading the way with 15 points. For Vanderbilt, Jaylen Carey had 18 points while Jason Edwards and Tyler Nickel had 17 points apiece.

Texas and Oklahoma are battling early in the second half in Austin.
