Four-star running back K.J. Edwards out of Carthage (Texas) has confirmed his official visit to Austin for June 13-15, as first reported by Inside Texas. Edwards, a physical and decisive runner, has been a standout at one of the state’s premier high school programs. His speed makes him an ideal fit for Steve Sarkisian’s offense, and Texas is working to solidify its position in his recruitment.

Joining Edwards that same weekend is fellow four-star running back Javian Osborne from Forney (Texas) who has also scheduled his visit for June 13-15. Texas is firmly in the mix for the explosive back, as the Longhorns are one of his top two choices. With Tashard Choice leading his recruitment, Texas will have an opportunity to make a strong push.

A week later, Texas will host one of the nation’s top offensive linemen in John Turntine III, who has set his official visit for June 20-22, as first reported by Inside Texas. Turntine is widely regarded as one of the best offensive linemen in the country and is expected to earn five-star status before the cycle is over. At 6-foot-3.5 and 295 pounds, he brings elite size, athleticism, and power, making him one of the most sought-after linemen in the 2026 class.

Kyle Flood is known for developing elite offensive linemen, has made Turntine a top priority as Texas looks to continue stacking talent in the trenches.
