Texas sets the bar for 2026 DB Aaron Bradshaw following standout Junior Day visit
Texas continues to make a strong impression on top recruits, and 2026 Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley safety Aaron Bradshaw is no exception. The talented defensive back, who grew up a Longhorns fan, had a standout experience during his Junior Day visit, further solidifying Texas as the early leader in his recruitment.

Bradshaw’s Excitement for Texas
Bradshaw’s anticipation for the visit skyrocketed after safeties coach Blake Gideon stopped by his school to personally extend a scholarship offer and invite him to Junior Day. That personal connection left a lasting impression, making the trip to Austin even more exciting.
Once on campus, Bradshaw was blown away by what Texas had to offer. From the state-of-the-art facilities to the genuine connection he felt with the coaching staff, the visit exceeded his expectations. He described Texas as “top-notch, if not the best,” adding “that they sure know how to make a player feel at home.”
Since receiving the Texas offer and making his visit, Bradshaw’s recruitment has taken off, with new offers rolling in from LSU, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Houston, and West Virginia. Bradshaw now has over 13 offers and that list will continue to grow. Despite that growing attention, Bradshaw made it clear that Texas has set the bar high in his recruitment.
“Right now, Texas is leading. I’ll still check out other schools, but until then, it’s Hook ’Em.”
Connections to the Longhorns
Beyond his strong impression of the program, Bradshaw already has familiar faces in Austin, making Texas even more appealing. He reconnected with former teammate Jonathan Cunningham, who is part of Texas 2025 signing class. The two caught up about the program, with Cunningham reinforcing how Texas culture, work ethic, and player development closely resemble what they experienced at North Crowley, making the transition easier.

Additionally, Bradshaw is teammates with John Turntine III, one of the top offensive linemen in the 2026 class, who is already a priority target for Texas. Their bond could further strengthen the Longhorns position in both recruitments.
Elite Athlete on the Court and the Field
Bradshaw’s athleticism extends beyond the football field, he’s also a high-flying dunker on the basketball court. The explosiveness, awareness, and athletic ability he displays on the court directly translate to his play as a safety, where he has to turn, locate the football, and react quickly in coverage.
What’s Next?
While Bradshaw plans to explore other programs, Texas has positioned itself exceptionally well. The relationships he’s built, combined with the overwhelming positivity from his visit, make the Longhorns the team to beat.
If Texas continues prioritizing him and building on this momentum, they could be in prime position to secure his commitment in the near future.
