Texas vs. Mississippi State kickoff time and television network options announced
The SEC is keeping its options opened when it comes to the television partner and kickoff time for a number of conference games, including the No. 1 Texas Longhorns’ SEC debut against the visiting Mississippi State Bulldogs in Austin on September 28.

Texas vs. Mississippi State will kick at either 2:30 p.m. or 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, the league office announced Monday. The game could air on ABC, ESPN, or the SEC Network.
The times and networks will be determined following the completion of the September 21 games and will be announced no later than six days prior to the game.

Texas and Mississippi State have faced of four times in history with the programs splitting the series 2-2. Texas defeated the Bulldogs in 1921 and in the 1999 Cotton Bowl. State won back-to-back games in 1991 and 1992 over the Longhorns for the Bulldogs’ two wins.
