Texas welcomes early enrollees from the 2024 class to campus

With classes at the University of Texas starting on Tuesday, the Longhorn football program welcomed 18 early enrollee members of its No. 3 ranked 2024 signing class to Austin ahead of the beginning of their lives as Texas students.

One member of the class who was announced as an early enrollee, Orlando (Fla.) Jones defensive tackle D’antre Robinson, has not yet made it in.

Though not mentioned by Searels, Tyanthony Smith enrolled early.

Texas’ video showcasing the arrival of the #AllGas24 class prominently features Colin Simmons, Kobe Black, Christian Clark, and Trey Owens among other members of the signing class.

Owens is ranked as the No. 371 overall prospect, the No. 24 quarterback, and the No. 62 player in Texas in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Christian Clark, RB, Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe

Butler is ranked No. 179 overall in the On3 Industry Ranking. Clark was No. 319.

The trip to Austin was counted as a visit for Butler ahead of enrolling.

Freddie Dubose, WR, San Antonio (Texas) Smithson Valley

Dubose was ranked as the No. 365 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Parker Livingstone, WR, Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy

Livingstone was ranked as the No. 328 overall prospect, the No. 55 wide receiver, and the No. 50 player in Texas.

Ryan Wingo, WR, St. Louis (Mo.) University High

Wingo was ranked as the No. 28 overall prospect, the No. 8 wide receiver, and the No. 2 player in Missouri.

Brandon Baker, OL, Ontario (Calif.) Mater Dei

Baker will move in after he participates in the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii. WeAreSC’s Scott Schrader spoke with Baker in Hawaii.

Colin Simmons, EDGE, Duncanville (Texas)

Simmons is the No. 11 overall prospect in the 2024 class.

Zina Umeozulu, EDGE, Allen (Texas)

Umeozulu is the No. 289 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Jordon Johnson-Rubell, DB, IMG Academy

The Fort Worth native was the No. 341 overall prospect in the 2024 class.

Xavier Filsaime, DB, McKinney (Texas)

Filsaime was the No. 33 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle.
