Ffrench, a four-star recruit from Jacksonville, has been a pillar of Texas’ recruiting class since his commitment in late August. Ranked as one of the top wide receivers in the country, his blend of speed, route-running precision, and playmaking ability has the Longhorn staff excited about his potential.
A Visit to the Gators Stirs Speculation
Ffrench’s recent visit to the Florida Gators added some intrigue to his recruitment. UF, just a couple hours from Ffrench’s hometown, has been making a strong push to flip the standout receiver. The Gators are hoping to pair Ffrench with his high school quarterback Trammell Jones, who is considered a Gators lean. Florida also holds a commitment from his friend Vernell Brown, also a talented wide receiver.
Building Stronger Ties with Texas
The impending visit to Texas gives Ffrench another chance to connect with the coaching staff, his potential future teammates, and the program as a whole. Sarkisian and wide receivers coach Chris Jackson have been key figures in securing and maintaining Ffrench’s commitment, emphasizing how he would thrive in Texas’ high-powered offensive system. As IT has reported, the coaches have been working overtime to ensure Ffrench remains in the class.

What’s Next?
As signing day approaches, all eyes will be on Ffrench to see if he stays true to his pledge to wear burnt orange or if Florida can make a credible move to sway him. But, the bottom line is his return visit has to be reassuring for the coaching staff and Texas fans alike.
