2024 Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy wide receiver Parker Livingstone doesn’t have to prove he’s underrated in the recruiting rankings world. But he will.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound On3 Industry Ranking four-star opened his senior season in style. Livingstone notched 252 yards receiving and three touchdowns on 12 catches, one 52-yard passing score, and had a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown called back for flag in Lovejoy’s 50-37 win over College Station in the Tom Landry Classic from Allen Eagles Stadium on Saturday.

Livingstone broke the previous Landry Classic receiving mark with his 12 grabs for 252 yards. The record was held by Highland Park’s Adam Parsons in 2002, per Matt Diggs. But it was Livingstone’s playmaking skills and ability to affect the game in so many areas that ultimately stood out on Saturday night from Allen.

Livingstone committed to the Longhorns on July 1st over offers from South Carolina, LSU, Texas A&M, and others. The multi-sport metroplex star told Bobby Burton and Justin Wells why he picked the Longhorns on the On Texas Football YouTube channel.

“I grew up a Texas fan, just being a little kid,” Livingstone said. “It’s been a dream school since I was a baby. I think I had the best opportunity to go and play there, and I think it’s the best fit for me and my family. They’ve got a great culture going on and I want to be a part of it. Ultimately, I want to win some national championships for the great state of Texas and for the university.”

Livingstone is an early enrollee. He’s the No. 342 overall prospect, No. 58 wide receiver, and No. 57 prospect in Texas in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.
